Mikaela Dörfel created this unusual tea service in 1993 combining porcelain and stainless steel. Clearly defined lines, a high degree of functionality and some noteworthy details: the teapot handle, which holds the lid in place when pouring, the precisely fitting strainer insert, and the cantilevered teapot warmer with the elevated candle. The teacups are stackable, with the metal ring serving as stacking guide.
The coffeepot (56 oz) dominates the gemiini coffee set, and also serves as a coffee maker. The removable stainless steel mesh filter is the guarantee of true, full coffee flavor, as the bitterns are removed upon completion of the brewing process.
