

On the occasion of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of mono-a, the various designers working for mono were invited to give free reign to their imagination and artistically honor the Great Classic. The results were as varied as the individuals themselves. Some were totally unconventional, some were true eyebrow raisers, some were respectful, and others a bit irreverent.
The collection was assembled as a travelling display that can be seen in key cities.


Vision and strategic know-how, the courage to make some daring moves, with the wisdom to avoid foolish maneuvers. The introduction of mono-a over 40 years ago, was an entrepreneurial stroke of genius. This chessboard pays homage to that great strategist who had the foresight to introduce mono-a.
